Ujazdowskie Avenue

This street links Trzech Krzyży Square and Belwederska Street. It's Warsaw's most elegant avenue with historical places, villas, splendid facades, embassies, buldings of the Council of Ministers and beatiful green parks- the Ujazdowski Park and the Royal Łazienki Park-Palace with the Belvedere.




The Ujazdowski Park contains the sculpture "Gladiator" by P.Weloński, and "Eve" by E. Witting. The park balance, in use non-stop since 1912, is worth a visit.


The Ujazdowski Castle was demolished in 1954 and rebuilt in 1975. From 1981 the Centre for Contemporary Art, organizing exhibitions of outstanding artists from all around the world.
